BEST TIME TO VISIT KERALA ??
October - April is undoubtedly the best season to visit Kerala as temperature ranges moderately between 19-29 degree Celsius with low humidity. Summers should be avoided as the state experiences hot and humid climate.
Exception is Idukki, a famous hill station in Munnar which experiences pleasant temps during the summers as well.

Varkala - Offers hills and beaches. Famous among European crowds who come to enjoy the tropical winters. Famous for thousands years old Janardhana Swamy temple. Varkala is surrounded by lakes and Backwaters.
Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, lakes, waterfalls, islands and tea estates. The closest airport is in Calicut 65km away. The nearest train station is in Calicut, about 110km away. Wayanad has better road connectivity and one can easily get taxis, buses and rickshaws to travel in and around the city.
