: SHIMLA SIGHTSEEING [Advance Study, Museum, Annandale Army Heritage Museum, Kali Mata Temple, Jakhoo Temple]
Post breakfast at hotel, proceed for Advance Study, Museum, Army Museum, Kali Mata Temple, Jakhoo Temple and Vai Ropeway( spot payment for ropeway). The army museseum is Nestled amidst towering snow-clad mountains, deodar trees, lush-greenery and huge lawns with Annandale at its backdrop, the Army Heritage Museum is one of the astonishing museums of its kind in India. It is a hidden gem in forests and has become a famous holiday spot of Shimla tour.
Positioned at an altitude of 6,117 feet above sea level, the museum is home to a collection of modern and traditional weapons, uniforms, flags, armory and lots of other military items.
A recent addition to the list of reasons to visit Shimla is the Hanuman statue at the Jakhu Temple. Hanuman devotees from across India travel to Shimla only to visit this temple and see the statue of Hanuman. The Jakhu Mandir, also spelled as Jakhoo, is located on Jakhu Hill. This lies about 2.5 km east of the Shimla Ridge. At a height of 2,455m above sea level, it is the highest peak in Shimla. This hilltop offers spectacular views of Shivalik mountain range and the town of Sanjauli. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is home to a large colony of monkeys. It is believed that the temple dates back to the time of the Ramayana. And that the footprints of Lord Hanuman can be seen in this temple.
Return drop off to hotel. Evening: You can enjoy shopping at the Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
